Therefore , markets fell sharply in the United States . Closing session of S & P 500 was 1.08 percent lower , ending below the key 1,850 level technology , while Dow Jones was 1.02 % lower . Asian stocks ended mixed in Technology shares also decreased. Sony Corp lost 2.5 % , while Yahoo Japan Corp lost 2.3 % .
