Asian stocks moved back and forth today , in response to anxiety about the U.S. budget . The Nikkei rose 0.3 % , while the Kospi gained 0.4 % . Meanwhile , banks in China are reported to have lost 200 billion yuan in deposits due to the shadow banking - causing a liquidity crisis .

 

Despite the GBP / USD fell to 1.6038 today . the pair is waiting for data from the United States for more direction. FOMC members are responsible for setting the benchmark interest rate and their speeches are closely watched for indications on the future possible direction of monetary policy . His comments may determine a positive or negative trend in the short term.

 

23:30 GMT - JPY - Tokyo CPI and core CPI (YoY ) - The Consumer Price Index (CPI ) measures the change in the price of goods and services from a consumer perspective in the Tokyo metropolitan area . It is a way to measure changes in purchasing trends and inflation .
