Just 10 companies are in control of almost every food beverage brand worldwide. 

Nestlé, Pepsico, Coca-Cola, Unilver, Danone, General Mills, Kellogg's, Mars, Associated British Foods, and Mondelez are in charge of practically everything you buy in the supermarkets.

Each company has thousands of employees and make billions of dollars in revenue every year.

Below you can see some examples of this food and beverage global monopoly:

 

1. Kellogg's: 2015 revenue: $13.5 billion

Besides Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes, Kellogg's also owns non-cereal brands including Eggo, Pringles, and Cheez-It.

 

2. Associated British Foods: 2015 revenue: $16.6 billion

This British company owns brands such as Dorset Cereals and Twinings tea, and the giant retailer Primark.

 

3. General Mills: 2015 annual revenue: $17.6 billion
